Perspectives and Snippets

On a recent morning, as I stepped outside, the sight of the beautiful day sent me back into the house to fetch my camera.
As I looked up, a bird perched high atop a tree across the street caught my eye. As I wondered at what a bird could see from way up there, I noticed on an even taller tree in the yard beyond - another bird.
And there we were, we three, taking in the world from our own very different perspectives; mine from ground level and theirs from above.
In our yard, colorful roses, this one particularly fragrant, filled my senses.
This more traditional rose is also sweetly scented, with delicate pink and yellow petals.
The dogs played, making me smile. They move so swiftly its rare to capture them in a photo with one bowing down low before the other, initiating a play session. How I wish I could capture their charm and playfulness.
The pole beans continued to grow happily. New flowers promising more beans to come. The shadows and curvy twining path of the new growth, its leaves and flowers intrigue me.
