Quilting was completed earlier this month - big happy swirls in a variegated thread with a bright yellow flannel backing. I attached the binding and basted it down for finishing... and sent it priority mail with delivery confirmation and insurance - it arrived safely today, two days after it was posted.
Mom will finish sewing on the binding. Should be done in time to accompany the new college student on her co-ed adventure.
